Using Linkedin
I know everyone moans about how it is becoming more like facebook, but I am always impressed at the effort certain people invest in their profiles in order to appear professional.

Re: Using Linkedin
I came off it. Would just get multiple messages from sales people and recruitment consultant cunts. Plus its impossible to truly find out what role the person does in their company. "Head of internal distribution" = works in post room etc

Someone the missus works(ed) with was head hunted by a company on linkedin.

He handed his notice in and they then withdrew they're offer after he'd already left so is now dole scum.

Cheers!

Re: Using Linkedin
I saw that. Literally cannot fathom why she'd want to have that photo up if she does want to be taken seriously. Surprised her company haven't seen it and asked her to remove it!

Re: Using Linkedin
Wonder if she's one of those that would scream blue murder about being objectified and not taken seriously if anyone dared pass comment on there about her coat pegs?

Re: Using Linkedin

Even though there will be many who won't take her seriously, there are probably as many people out there who will want to at least interview her based on that photo alone!

she clearly know what she is doing by posting it and is playing the percentages which she thinks are in her favour.

Has anybody asked you how you stumbled upon this profile?

Re: Using Linkedin
They started sending me, without so much as a by your leave, shit on an e-mail account I use but specifically NOT on social media.

Some cunt must have copied it in their details. As such, every time I get something via that address I remove some of my profile details from LinkedIn.

Nailed on I'll soon be regarded as not worth keeping on and my account will be deleted, which saves me the bother.
